OKX Singapore launches stablecoin payment service at local GrabPay merchants.

Golden Finance reported that the cryptocurrency exchange OKX announced on Tuesday that it has launched a service in Singapore allowing its customers to pay merchants on the payment platform of ride-hailing operator Grab using stablecoins. Through the service called OKX Pay, when users pay with USDC or USDT stablecoins, they will first be converted into the Singapore dollar-backed stablecoin XSGD issued by StraitsX, after which merchants will receive payments in Singapore dollars.
