Can gold prices crash?
On the occasion of today's crazy movements in gold, we must remember what happened in the past.
In August 2011, gold surpassed $1900 for the first time in history before prices collapsed by more than 44% from this peak, and it took until 2020 for prices to return to these levels.
In January 1980, gold surpassed $800 for the first time and did not reach these levels again until 2007, which is about 28 years.
