The American Association for Generative Artificial Intelligence (ACM) approved the principles of generative AI development

According to IT House news, the Association for Generative AI (Association for Generative AI) Computing Machine Global Technology Policy Committee (ACM TPC) recently released the “Principles for the Development, Deployment and Use of Generative Artificial Intelligence Technology”, which has been approved by ACM’s Adopted by the United States Technology Policy Council (USTPC) and the European Technology Policy Council (Europe TPC).

It is reported that the principle aims to promote fair, accurate and beneficial decision-making about generative and all other artificial intelligence technologies. However, the ACM has not urged the implementation of specific legislation in this regard. Jeremy Epstein, chairman of ACM’s US Technology Policy Committee, said, “We will respond directly to the legislature’s request for comment, but we will not take a public position on the bill or parts of it.”
