Techub News: Hong Kong asset management firm Metalpha has signed a memorandum of understanding with financial services platform Exos Financial and blockchain holding company BlockchainK2 to establish a joint venture aimed at providing compliant digital asset solutions for institutional clients primarily based in the United States. The joint venture will focus on three core areas: offering OTC derivatives and hedging solutions for institutional investors and miners, developing crypto relative value investment strategies, and designing security-linked trading to gain digital asset exposure. Metalpha will contribute derivatives and liquidity expertise, Exos will provide a regulated investment banking and asset management framework (founded by former Credit Suisse CEO Brady Dougan), and BlockchainK2 will supply tokenization and fund sales technology platforms.
