Regulators Target Crypto Confusion

The two agencies desire to do away with regulatory uncertainties. There has been a problem with blurred lines between commodity and security classifications in the market.

They insisted that conflicting design rests on past jurisdictional lines. The event will support harmonization efforts on American innovation.

The conference is to be held at CFTC headquarters on January 29, Thursday. Sessions are between 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm Eastern Time. At 2:00 p.m., Chairman Paul Atkins introduces briefly; at 2:20 p.m.

Face-to-face attendance should be registered. The event will be broadcast on the SEC site. There is no registration required for online viewers.
