Golden Finance reports that LINEA announced the official launch of its token burning mechanism on platform X. Subsequently, every transaction on the LINEA on-chain will burn ETH and LINEA, which will directly reduce the token supply to implement deflation. All gas fees on LINEA are paid in ETH and collected through a fee contract. After deducting infrastructure costs, the remaining funds will be 100% burned, including 20% burned in the form of ETH and 80% converted to LINEA and burned on L1. Additionally, the token burning data tracking feature has also been launched.
