Gate News bot message, the Jupiter core working group (CWG) officially announces its dissolution and will fully refund 4.5 million JUP tokens to the DAO treasury. Jupiter stated that, as the DAO enters a 6-month voting suspension period and reset phase, it has been assessed that the originally planned 4-year mission of the CWG has been largely achieved. Although there is still some work left to wrap up, the current DAO ecosystem has developed to the point where the initially designed core working group model is no longer needed.
Member whereabouts are as follows:
- Morten joins the Jupiter team full-time as an operations and quality control engineer.
- Kemo returns to its main project Radiants, retaining community membership.
- The remaining members will complete the work handover within two weeks.
