The cryptocurrency market faced a downturn today, with Bitcoin (BTC) and altcoins experiencing notable declines. Investors had high expectations for former U.S. President Donald Trump’s speech at the Digital Asset Summit, hoping for positive developments regarding crypto regulations or policies. However, the lack of any major announcement left the market disappointed.
BTC was trading at $86,500 at the start of Trump’s speech but soon dropped to $83,650, marking a 3% decline. Ethereum (ETH), the leading altcoin, also suffered a 4% drop.
