The SEC website has posted a clarification on the US crypto reserve:
◼ #BTC is the main strategic reserve asset.
◼ #XRP is the optimization of financial transactions, government payments, interbank liquidity.
◼ #SOL is a blockchain for government databases, digital identifiers and voting.
◼ #ADA is academic accreditation, smart contracts for government services, infrastructure.
◼ #SOL and ADA are integrated into the government infrastructure, but are not included in the reserve.
◼ #XRP remains a key instrument for financial transactions.
