US President Donald Trump announced the five cryptocurrencies to be added to the US Strategic Crypto Reserve on Sunday (March 2), sending crypto prices soaring.
Trump posted on Truth Social that the executive order on digital assets signed in January would lead to the creation of a US crypto reserve, consisting of bitcoin (BTC), ethereum (ETH), XRP, Solana (SOL), and Cardano's ADA.
A little over an hour later, Trump added, "And of course, BTC and ETH, along with other valuable cryptocurrencies, will be the core of this reserve."
