TRON Ready to Launch Anti-Quantum Network in Q3 2026

TRON founder, Justin Sun, announced a major plan to enhance network security in response to the growing threat of quantum computers. TRON is scheduled to launch an anti-quantum testnet in the second quarter of 2026, followed by a mainnet launch in the third quarter. This move is believed to make TRON the first blockchain in the world to officially implement comprehensive post-quantum cryptography security standards.
Justin Sun emphasizes that security against quantum computer attacks is a top priority in the era of artificial intelligence development (AI). According to him, focusing on AI benefits must also be accompanied by high vigilance toward the risks involved, especially the ability of quantum computers to break traditional encryption.
"TRON user funds will remain secure in the AI era through the implementation of this technology," Sun stated in his official announcement.
By integrating anti-quantum protocols earlier, TRON aims to become the primary infrastructure for the agentic economy that requires high-level security layers to protect digital assets from potential exploitation in the future.
