German hacker arrested in Bangkok, facing 74 counts of cybercrime
Mars Finance reports that a 27-year-old German hacker, Noah Christopher, was arrested in Bangkok, Thailand. He faces up to 74 cybercrime arrest warrants in Europe. Investigations show that he is suspected of developing and operating ransomware platforms and a “cybercrime as a service” (CaaS) system between 2021 and 2025, including providing distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack tools (such as Fluxstress and Neldowner), assisting customers worldwide in launching cyberattacks and receiving payment in return. The relevant ransom payments involve cryptocurrencies and other digital assets, constituting transnational cybercrime activities. His visa has been revoked, and he is currently being held pending extradition to Germany.
