#CryptoMarketRecovery In the world of cryptocurrencies, the long-debated "quantum threat" has once again become a central topic, and a notable development has emerged involving a developer.

Independent developer Avihu Levy published a study claiming that Bitcoin transactions can be protected against quantum computers without any changes to the current protocol.

This approach proposed by the developer does not require a soft fork or a network-wide consensus change. In this regard, it stands out as an alternative solution to the post-quantum updates that have been discussed for years and could take a long time to implement.
Recently, the potential threats of quantum computers to cryptography have come back into focus. A study published by Google indicated that the thresholds for quantum processor capacity needed to break the cryptographic systems used by Bitcoin could be significantly lower than previously thought. This development reignited scenarios called "Q-Day," the day when quantum computers could potentially break current encryption systems.
