The vast majority of Web3 content platforms are simply taking the Web2 model and moving it onto the blockchain.

It wasn't until I started observing @Permaweb_DAO that I realized there is another path.
Instead of just adjusting the distribution ratio, it rewrites the content lifecycle. On Permaweb, content is not a traffic commodity but a permanent asset.
It relies on Arweave's storage model, allowing long-term or even near-permanent data preservation through a one-time payment.
This brings about a very direct change: creators no longer need to repeatedly migrate content, and their content won't be buried due to algorithm changes.
The role of Permaweb DAO is to productize this capability, lowering the barrier to entry so that ordinary creators can participate.
It's more like a form of time arbitrage: in a world where all content will eventually disappear, you choose to turn your content into a long-lasting asset.
In the short term, this value may be hard to realize, but as time extends, permanence itself becomes a scarce resource. That’s why I believe this direction is seriously underestimated.
Because it doesn't cater to short-term traffic, but it accumulates irreversible value.
