Huitong News, April 8—— The share of gold reserves held by BRICS countries has increased significantly from 11.2% in 2019 to the current 17.4%, while the share of the U.S. dollar in global reserves has fallen to its lowest level since 1994. The shift from dollar reserves to gold is no longer just a forecast, but a firmly established trend backed by data. Since 2022, more than 3,000 tons of gold have been added to sovereign vaults, with more than 40 central banks participating.
