Just went through some ETH holder data and it's interesting to see who's actually holding the most. Vitalik Buterin, the Ethereum co-founder, sits at the top with around 240k to 280k ETH worth nearly $960 million. There's also Rain Lohmus, an early pre-sale investor who grabbed roughly 250k ETH back then, though he's mentioned losing access to those private keys at some point.
The other co-founders are still holding substantial amounts too. Jeffrey Wilcke has about 136k ETH according to Arkham data. Then you've got the Winklevoss twins who collectively control somewhere between 150k to 200k ETH, putting their holdings at around $510 to $680 million range.
What caught my attention was Joseph Lubin's position - another Ethereum co-founder who went on to found ConsenSys. His joseph lubin net worth is estimated between $340 million to $510 million based on holdings of 100k to 150k ETH. It's wild how much value these early holders accumulated, though honestly most of them probably aren't selling anytime soon. Current ETH price sitting around $2,090 with a -2.62% 24h move.
