American media reports that the 45-day ceasefire plan with Iran is just one of many options. Nothing more.
A White House spokesperson said on April 6 that Trump has not approved this plan yet. Military actions against Iran continue. So, there may be no ceasefire in the near future.
Basically, the idea was floated, the reaction was observed, and now they are backpedaling. This happens often. The markets, of course, can react to any news, but for now, it’s just words. No agreement has been made.
We will keep monitoring. If they actually reach an agreement, then yes. But for now, it’s just informational noise.
