Over the past two years, more and more familiar acquaintances around me have been getting caught. No matter how much money they take, in the end, it’s really just so much of the same.

No matter how many properties you have, day to day you can only live in the one place your family lives in. The big off-road vehicles the developers gave away—how many people normally dare to drive them? Most of them just, on the weekends, secretly take their lovers out for a brief fling, then when they come back they obediently park them in the underground garage. Most people, out of fear, deliberately stay in small homes and drive cheap cars most of the time.
So they’ve taken in quite a bit of money, but how many people actually get to enjoy it? These days, the moment you spend, there are records of the traces—once you’re investigated, it’s very easy to find out.
Some people kept a mistress, and after it all came to light, the wife and children were scattered—it's the kind of pain you feel when family is separated, which is extremely hard to endure. So whenever those thoughts come back, I still urge myself that there are certain lines I must not cross. When something happens, the wife and the kids have to bear the pressure on their own.
