I've recently been hearing a lot of people talk about crypto bull runs, but it turns out many still don't really understand what it actually is. So I want to explain it simply so you can catch the next momentum.
So a crypto bull run is basically a period when prices rise drastically. Not just a little, but a significant surge. It usually starts with Bitcoin, then the effect spreads to other altcoins. When it happens, many investors start to jump in, the media gets excited, and it all feels like a party.
From what I observe, a bull run has a consistent pattern. First, there's the accumulation phase, where the smartest investors start buying while the market is still calm. Then comes the recovery phase, where prices begin to rise slowly. The third phase is the craziest, called euphoria—everyone gets excited, media is full of hype, and FOMO hits everywhere. Finally, there's the distribution phase, where big players start taking profits, and the market becomes unstable.
Signs that a crypto bull run is happening are pretty clear if you know what to look for. Prices rise quickly, social media is full of crypto discussions, everyone is afraid of missing out. NFTs, DeFi, meme coins become trending. New projects launch every week, and everything feels like a big opportunity.
During a bull run, some things change in the market. Liquidity increases, crypto adoption grows, and there are opportunities for quick profits if you're smart. But this is also the most dangerous time because bubbles can burst at any moment and the market can drop sharply.
I think there are several ways to take advantage during a crypto bull run. You can invest early in projects with strong fundamentals, or if you're a trader, you can ride the momentum with solid strategies. Some also launch their own Web3 projects. But it's very important to keep learning and invest wisely, not just follow the crowd.
Most importantly, don't get caught up in the euphoria. Bull runs are powerful, but they can also cause people to rush without planning. Stay clear-headed, manage your risks well, and don't follow the crowd blindly. I've seen what happened in 2021 and 2017, and the lessons were pretty heavy.
So, what do you think? Do you think another bull run will come? Have you experienced a bull run before? Share in the comments—I want to hear your perspective.
