I just came across an interesting calculation: how much does Elon Musk actually earn per second? The answer is quite impressive, to be honest.

Based on calculations from 2024, when Musk's net worth reached the $429 billion mark, it comes out to about $3,708... per second. That's more than a full month's salary for many people. When you scale that up, it gets even more absurd: what Elon Musk earns per second multiplied by 60 equals approximately $222,500 per minute. He could buy an entire luxury property in some countries with that.

And if you think further, per hour, that's over $13 million. That's the budget for a private jet that he could "earn" in less than two hours. Per day, it adds up to $320 million – more than the annual budget of many countries.

What fascinates me: in one week, Musk generates about $2.24 billion in wealth increase. That's a Hollywood blockbuster budget. And the crazy part is, these numbers mainly come from Tesla stock rising and his future projects like AI and SpaceX simply continuing to increase in value.

When you ask the question, what does Elon Musk earn per second, you really have to ask yourself: is that still "earning" in the traditional sense, or is it just how wealth functions in this system? The guy works, of course, but the lion's share is pure wealth increase through his company shares.

For comparison: while you're reading this message, Musk has probably already earned five figures again. Wild, isn't it?
