Since it's time to replace my LAN cable recently, I tried out various options, and I found that the product differences are more significant than I imagined. If you're gaming, prioritize stability; for desk setup, ease of wiring is more important. Not only communication speed but also noise resistance is quite crucial.

For gamers, models from Buffalo and Elecom seem to be quite good. They maintain speed even in noisy environments and are suitable for online games where latency matters. However, the cables are a bit stiff, making it difficult to wire neatly around the desk. On the other hand, UGREEN's flat cables are very easy to wire and help keep the desk area tidy. For regular use, they provide sufficient speed.

Sangyo Supply's mesh-type cables are also rare and worth trying, but while wiring is easy, they are more susceptible to noise, which was a concern. Ultimately, the recommended LAN cable to choose depends on what you prioritize. It might be best to consider separate cables for gaming and work. There are affordable options too, so experimenting is worth it.
