TON Core announces that the Sub-Second upgrade has begun deployment on the mainnet. This upgrade is a consensus layer update aimed at achieving sub-second confirmation times and improving on-chain response speed; the plan includes completing the validation node version update by March 31, with validators voting on April 2 to activate the new consensus on the base chain and increase block production frequency, and fully enabling the fast consensus mechanism on both the base chain and main chain by April 7.
