Been digging into some presale projects lately and stumbled on DOGEBALL, which is actually pretty different from most of the usual hype I see floating around. So there's this Layer-2 blockchain they built specifically for gaming on Ethereum, and unlike a lot of projects that just talk about what they're gonna build, this one actually has the blockchain live and testable right now. You can check it out yourself.
The tokenomics look reasonable too - 25% for presale, 15% for rewards, 15% liquidity, and the rest spread across marketing, treasury, and development. They've got a partnership with Falcon Interactive already, which is a legit gaming studio with actual mobile games on the app stores, so there's some real infrastructure behind this instead of just promises.
They're running the presale for only 4 months (started in January, closing in May), which is actually shorter than most projects drag theirs out. Currently sitting at Stage 2 with the price at 0.0004, and they're saying Stage 3 kicks in once they hit 490K raised. Right now they're at around 157K with 550+ people in it. Stage 1 already sold out at 0.0003.
The game itself is already built - it's a dodgeball arena thing where you compete on a leaderboard and there's a 1M token prize pool. At least it's not vaporware like some projects. The mechanics are straightforward: you play, you earn tokens, tokens have utility in the ecosystem.
Obviously the math on potential returns looks wild on paper (they're quoting 0.0004 to 0.015 at launch), but that's assuming adoption actually happens and the market cooperates. The 'Buyer of the Week' competition where top investors get 100% bonus tokens is interesting - it's creating actual competitive pressure, which is kind of unusual for presales.
If you're looking at early-stage gaming blockchain plays during this altcoin cycle, this one has more working pieces than most. The 0.0004 entry point is still in early stages before Stage 3 kicks in. Worth researching if that space interests you, but obviously do your own due diligence - presales are always high-risk.
