Since the end of last year, I've been wanting to find a part-time project for myself.

I also mentioned before that during the New Year, I visited two studios—one doing game live streaming and the other doing无人直播.
Recently, I’ve looked at a few more, but the standards are a bit low, and I’m not really interested.
In the end, I chose无人直播; whether it can succeed or not is uncertain.
Game live streaming has higher requirements, and I can't really handle it.
Actually, I briefly explained the gameplay of these two projects before, but I still received many private messages asking about them.
So I can only share what I know, mainly about game live streaming.
First, just because you promote a certain game doesn’t mean you have to stream that game exclusively. According to them, the game being streamed should have popularity and be eye-catching—that’s enough. It’s like selling a sheep’s head but selling dog meat.
Their live streams are purely organic traffic. They stream PUBG (PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds).
This game has a mode called Sandbox Mode. Recently, this mode has been opened up. Previously, only invited streamers could use it, but now with a membership and creating a guild, anyone can access it.
This Sandbox Mode is very important because it allows full customization of everything inside the game.
You’ve probably seen many streamers shooting arrows randomly from trees or on towers—unlimited bullets, unlimited health.
They are often in the circle, getting dozens of kills, using this Sandbox Mode.
According to them, they stay inside the circle, get many kills, improve the show’s effect, and ultimately win chicken dinners, so they keep getting traffic. As a result, the number of viewers in these streams continues to grow.
How do they create engaging content?
Their current approach is to write a script themselves. Usually, those who sit in trees and kill randomly—viewers get bored of that and won’t stay long. That’s why they emphasize that entertainment value is very important.
After writing the script, they can run their own Sandbox Mode to perform it, or they can go to second-hand platforms where people specifically take on acting gigs, record the performance.
Then they start live streaming, playing their pre-recorded script, with live voice commentary.
During the stream, each room will have about 10 small accounts to give guiding comments or to liven up the atmosphere, while also dropping red envelope rewards to increase user engagement and ensure continuous stream promotion.
Finally, they coordinate with game companies to promote their game in the live room.
It might sound a bit messy, but you can digest it yourself. The whole process is basically like this.
