Witnessing Giggle Academy Break 200,000: Quiet Dedication Finally Pays Off, This Original Intention Is Especially Touching

Today I saw that Giggle Academy @GiggleAcademy has surpassed 200,000 learners, specifically 210,863 children. As someone who has been following this project since early last year, I’ve been watching this number for a long time, filled with indescribable feelings and satisfaction.
When I first paid attention to this project, it was just an unnoticed “little sprout.”
In early 2024, CZ @cz_binance casually released the white paper. A small remote team of a dozen people, some part-time, with no overwhelming publicity or capital hype—many people didn’t even know it was a completely non-profit platform funded entirely by individuals, aiming to provide free education for children worldwide.
At that time, I wondered how far such a pure initial intention could go.
Unexpectedly, I’ve watched it grow little by little and run at a rapid pace.
From basic gamified English courses to iterating over 1,000 picture books supporting 33 languages, so children and parents with limited English can use it effortlessly;
Content expanded from a few vocabulary games to 400 core English words + 100+ mini-games + 1,000+ flashcards + 300+ teaching videos and nursery rhymes. It also incorporated phonics systems, AI voice practice, AI-generated personalized stories, and gacha reward mechanisms, making learning truly addictive and fun;
From a successful launch in Vietnam with rave reviews to entering dozens of schools in Nigeria (including a formal partnership with Funtua LGEA, serving 94 schools and over 57,000 children happily learning in classrooms);
Now, with the official announcement of cooperation with Dongguan Chongying School Group, involving 8 schools and over 2,500 students, and the full launch of the pilot program in Guangdong elementary schools, bringing free, joyful learning into domestic classrooms.
User numbers grew from a few thousand initially
to about 7,700 by March 2025,
then rapidly jumped to around 35,000 after Vietnam’s official launch in May (becoming one of the countries with the highest global downloads),
reached 68,000 in October,
surpassed 90,000 in December,
broke 100,000 earlier this year,
climbed to 150,000 in February,
and on March 11, hit 184,976.
In just over two months, it soared from 100,000 to 210,863, covering 168 countries—all without paid promotion, purely through genuine word-of-mouth and organic growth.
The team also expanded from just over a dozen people to about 60, continuously refining the product through remote collaboration.
I’ve always known that providing inclusive education is never easy. Without commercial profit motives, it requires continuous investment in funding, AI content development, adapting to different regional needs worldwide, and maintaining a commitment to ad-free, completely free, offline-supported education—staying true to the original purpose of education. Every step has been both solid and challenging.
But it has endured. Quietly doing meaningful work—no hype, no exaggeration—delivering quality education to children who were previously unreachable.
From an unnoticed small project to a global platform serving 200,000 children, I, as a witness along the way, truly feel a deep sense of satisfaction.
It’s not about following trends or hype, but about seeing a well-intentioned beginning grow into a mighty tree that shelters countless children. That feeling is priceless.
I will continue to follow it in the future, and sincerely hope more people will see Giggle Academy. It’s not just an educational app; it’s a two-year-long gentle original intention.
If you’re curious, take a moment to learn more; if you have children aged 2-8 around you, share this free, joyful learning experience. Projects that do meaningful work steadily like this deserve more attention and are worth our continued hope for their future.
The goal my brother once set at a million is getting closer, and I believe it will be achieved very soon!
Keep building!
