Golden Finance reports that the three major U.S. stock indices opened lower, with the Nasdaq down 1.08%, the Dow down 0.18%, and the S&P 500 down 0.55%. The U.S. stock chip and storage sectors declined across the board, with SanDisk falling and Micron Technology dropping over 3%. MARA Holdings rose over 4% after announcing a $1 billion convertible preferred note buyback and the sale of 15,133 bitcoins. Nvidia’s stock price fell 1.58%, Apple declined 0.59%, Alphabet A shares dropped 1.95%, Microsoft decreased 0.22%, Amazon fell 1.16%, Meta Platforms Inc Class A shares declined 2.79%, Tesla dropped 1.16%, and Netflix’s stock price decreased 1.05%.
