🟠 Senior Bloomberg strategist has revised his Bitcoin forecast.
Now Mike McGlone expects the BTC price to retrace to $28,000 instead of the previously predicted $10,000 after a wave of criticism on social media.
• Previously, McGlone warned of the possibility of BTC falling to $10,000 amid a recession and a crash in the US stock market.
• His colleagues reacted sharply: analyst Mati Greenspan publicly called such a forecast meaningless, claiming that an asset with trillion-dollar monthly volumes cannot fall to a capitalization of ( billion without a complete collapse of the financial system.
• Jason Fernandez noted that in the reflexive crypto market, loud bearish forecasts can themselves exert downward pressure on the price. He even challenged McGlone to a public debate, but he only liked the challenge and did not respond.
• Under pressure from criticism, McGlone adjusted his target to $28,000, based on historical support levels. Nevertheless, his critics did not appreciate this change either.
