Today during the live broadcast, after analyzing the market and news, I opened a demo account and invited members of the live chat room to participate. Everyone thinks contracts can make money. Okay, let's give it a try and see if we can profit.
Let everyone choose the asset and time frame. The final choice was Bitcoin BTC, and after selecting a period, we started trading contracts. BTB research students Zhongnan and Jinbei joined in.
The whole process clearly shows that Zhongnan's level is higher than Jinbei's. Overall, Zhongnan made a profit, while Jinbei incurred a loss. It's not about saying who is better or worse; Zhongnan has been hand-in-hand with me, constantly learning and practicing. Jinbei is relatively new, hasn't been to Chongqing, and usually has to work. My advice to Jinbei is not to trade contracts; you won't make money.
Throughout the trading process, it's obvious that every buy and sell decision Zhongnan made was well reasoned. Although there were losses, the profit and loss ratio was high, and overall, he was profitable. Jinbei's entries were based on feelings; his entry points weren't very accurate. When he opened a short, it kept losing as the price fell; when he opened a long, it kept losing as the price rose—just like many other crypto friends.
This is just a demo account, part of our BTB research and teaching practical training. I warmly welcome everyone to join my live broadcasts to test your own level. I only have one requirement: what is your reason for each entry? Profit and loss come from the same source. What's your risk-reward ratio? How do you set your stop-loss? Over time, you'll understand why you're not making money and why I say beginners shouldn't trade contracts.
In the future, whenever there's a live broadcast and time permits, let's review and practice together, learning and growing as a team.
Today, the 68560 long position was fine. After taking profit and stop-loss, the decline was actually a manipulation by the big players. Where should we continue to go long? I took a short position and got stopped out. At 69350, I entered a short again. I reviewed it—there was still an upward trend in 5 minutes, and it was about to reach 699-701, which was the best position for a short. Now, it has indeed reached the level I marked during the live. Of course, I believe this short on the 4-hour trading cycle is going to make money and should fall. At least I controlled myself and didn't let emotions take over when entering at better points I could predict. The take-profit below the short is at 670-650. Let's see if it hits that level and recovers the money I lost on the stop-loss.
