Today, A-shares fluctuated and rose, with hot topics such as space photovoltaics and commercial aerospace rebounding across the board, and over 4,400 stocks rising. The Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.38% at midday to 4,031.07 points, with a half-day trading volume of 1.62 trillion yuan. On the news front, rumors of a merger between SpaceX and xAI are boosting demand for space photovoltaics and AI-based data centers in space, leading to a collective surge in space photovoltaics and commercial aerospace concept stocks. The Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei concept stocks collectively strengthened as the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council issued the “Modern Capital Urban Circle Spatial Coordination Plan (2023–2035),” aiming to build a world-class metropolitan area centered around the capital and to develop Hebei Xiong’an New Area to high standards and high quality.
