Over the past six months, my top three favorite open-source projects are all beautifully designed, uniquely functional, and meticulously refined products. In the era of everyone Vibe Coding, taste has become the biggest trait of a product: 1. pierre/diffs, a library for rendering code diffs. I never expected such a seemingly insignificant feature to be made so exquisite and perfect—different layouts, multiple themes, customizable fonts—it's truly stunning. Paired with Berkeley Mono, it looks like a piece of art. 2. The Beautiful Mermaid from the original post is the second. 3. The third is BaseUI, created by the author of Radix, which brings a comfortable, minimalist style even with its default settings.
