Recently, major assets have been pulling back one after another. This market movement made me realize a question. The previous sell signal was issued near the peak, which is indeed a bit regrettable—Trump concept tokens attracted a lot of hot money, but the supporting funds were clearly insufficient, and in the end, half of the early profits were given back.
Looking back at this trade, the logic at the time was to bet that the token could ride the Trump sentiment hot spot, combined with its market cap and growth potential, which seemed promising. Compared to the market cap position of a certain leading platform's related assets, it was still far from reaching the 20% consensus level.
In hindsight, tokens that rely purely on emotional momentum are most likely to become the bagholders. Hot assets without fundamental support, relying solely on market sentiment, tend to accelerate their decline the moment the hype dissipates. This also reminds me that in the future, selecting assets should focus on these dimensions: whether there is actual application, how deep the community consensus is, and whether genuine funds are supporting the market.
