South Korea to lift its 9-year ban on corporate #crypto investments



South Korean authorities plan to remove the ban on corporate #crypto investments that has been in place since 2017. 🟠 Corporations will be allowed to invest up to 5% of their equity

🟠 Eligible assets include BTC, ETH, and other Top-20 tokens by market cap

🟠 Stablecoins (including USDT) are still under discussion

🟠 Final rules will be published in the coming months, with #rollout expected within a year

🟠 The ban was introduced over AML and overheating concerns. regulators now expect corporate inflows and a #shift toward long-term investment
