Recently, I organized a set of asset allocation strategies based on my own DeFi practical experience, starting with an initial capital of $100,000. To be honest, surviving in this market is not about chasing high returns, but about finding the balance point between yield and risk. I have repeatedly adjusted this plan, and every step is designed based on real scenarios, not just theoretical.
Let's start with the core logic: the total funds are divided into three parts, each with its own role.
**First Part: Stable Income Base**
I allocate 50% of the funds ($50,000) to exchange for slisBNB, then put them into a lending protocol as collateral. There is a key decision here — I keep the collateralization ratio firmly at 200%, not more aggressive. Why? Because this allows me to borrow out $25,000 in lisUSD stablecoins while leaving a safety margin.
The borrowed stablecoins are not idle; I directly invest them into a yield pool. In practice, the annualized return can be stably around 12%. This part of the income is like a fixed deposit, with low volatility, allowing for peace of mind.
I take risk control seriously. When the market is unfavorable, if BNB drops more than 10%, I start adding margin. I also use monitoring tools like DeFiSaver to keep an eye on the collateralization ratio 24/7, and issue early warnings if there are risk signals. The purpose of this is simple — to prevent liquidation from the source.
**Second Part: Growth Opportunities**
Of the remaining funds, 30% ($30,000) is invested in innovative mining. The specific operation involves staking $15,000 worth of weETH and borrowing $7,500 in lisUSD to participate in point mining. The annualized return can reach 28%. For funds that can tolerate some fluctuations, this yield is quite cost-effective. You can participate in early-stage ecosystems of new projects without risking all your assets in one direction.
**Third Part: Long-term Value**
The remaining 20% ($20,000) is used to lock governance tokens. Locking 20,000 tokens not only gives you a say in ecosystem decisions but also shares in the protocol’s growth benefits. This part is more about laying the groundwork for long-term value accumulation, not expecting short-term surges.
**Some Practical Details**
When choosing staking schemes, I compare different platform designs, usually finding 5%-8% yield optimization space — these small details add up and can be felt over time.
Overall, this strategy uses stablecoins for low-risk core income, innovative mining and staking for value appreciation, and risk hedging through price alerts and automation tools. If you also want to find a balance between stability and progress in the DeFi ecosystem, this approach can serve as a reference.

I'm afraid to move the 200% collateralization rate. I guess I'm really scared, haha.

Is a 200% collateralization rate really stable, or does it just look stable?

A 200% collateralization ratio is conservative. I was liquidated once before because of greed, and now I prefer to be stable whenever possible.

50% stable base, 30% mining, 20% governance. This configuration, I feel like something is missing... Short hedge?
