Recently participated in some activities of Walrus, sharing my actual experience and thoughts.

First, about the airdrop, there was an event at 4 PM where you needed 252 points to participate, and you could get 40 tokens with an estimated value of $30. Honestly, this score threshold is quite high. I used 4x leverage to play $LISA and almost got liquidated. Later, I heard that the whales injected 10 million tokens, causing the price to plummet by 75.88%. Someone started with 500U and ended up losing over 300U.

I also tried a plaza task from a major exchange before. If you rank high, you can earn some, but the risk is indeed significant. So I turned to see how to participate in Walrus's essay activity. The process is actually simple—follow the project account, join the relevant topic, and trade $WAL worth 10U. Additionally, you need an X (Twitter) account.

It’s worth mentioning that Walrus is not fundamentally a blockchain project but a storage protocol. I think this is quite important. Its goal is to allow users to store their data securely and confidently, which is quite different from the typical schemes in the crypto space. Instead of participating in various high-risk games, it’s better to look at projects that are truly building infrastructure.
