January 15th two major events ignite the market: Can the CLARITY bill vote break the regulatory deadlock? Will BitMine's issuance plan drive up ETH?

【Crypto World】January 15th is going to be a big day in the crypto market. The U.S. Senate Banking Committee is preparing to vote on the CLARITY Act, and this is no small move. The core focus of this bill addresses the longstanding pain points troubling the market—cracking down on false trading, deceptive manipulation, and inflated trading volumes. More importantly, it mandates exchanges to provide proof of reserves, which is a hard constraint toward industry standardization. Many industry insiders believe that if this bill passes, it could mark a turning point in long-standing cryptocurrency regulation issues.

On the same day, another major event is taking place: the BitMine shareholders’ meeting. The vote concerns a stock issuance plan—expanding from 500 million shares to 50 billion shares. The numbers sound huge, but if shareholders agree, BitMine will gain significant financing capacity. Interestingly, the intended use of these funds is reportedly to buy ETH. This suggests that if the issuance is approved, BitMine could become a major buyer of ETH, providing support for ETH’s price.

These two events—one increasing regulatory certainty and the other boosting market liquidity—are both sending positive signals to the market. However, the actual outcome depends on the voting results.

Once the reserve proof is out, a bunch of pump-and-dump schemes will be doomed haha BitMine is疯狂吸ETH? What is this hinting at? If the CLARITY bill really passes, I need to recheck my holdings Wait, 50 billion shares, this level of dilution is pretty intense... To put it simply, it still depends on how shareholders vote, but buying ETH is reliable Regulation actually makes me a bit more at ease, clearing out the market is also good Keep an eye on the operation on January 15th, it seems like it will affect the upcoming trend

The reserve proof should have come out long ago; exchanges need to control their schemes. BitMine's 50 billion share expansion... feels a bit crazy, will it really cause a dump? If CLARITY passes, the crypto world will be much more honest, but regulation... we've believed in it too many times. ETH being bottomed out? Or just another leek feast, we'll see on January 15. Is the bill vote really happening, or is it just another paper illusion? BitMine's 50 billion shares—are they trying to copy some kind of trick? It doesn't seem that simple.

Regulatory boots have landed, is ETH about to take off? --- If the CLARITY bill passes, exchanges will have a tough time, but this might actually be good for retail investors. --- BitMine is rapidly issuing more tokens; it feels a bit like a cut... --- The reserve proof is brilliant; the scam coin trading income has been exposed. --- Wait, 50 billion shares? That's quite a heavy dilution. What are the shareholders thinking? --- Two things happening at once; it looks like January 15 is the day of reckoning. --- After the bill passes, altcoins are probably going to cool off, only the mainstream coins will survive. --- BitMine buying ETH? That means they’re optimistic, following the trend is fine. --- Fake trading has been cracked down on; trading volume data needs to be real, some coins are revealing their true colors. --- The mandatory reserve proof requirement is finally here; someone is finally regulating this.

Oh no, the reserve proof thing should have come a long time ago. I already said back then, fake trading volume is cheaper than a pizza. Is BitMine's 50 billion shares trick about to cut leeks again? Buying ETH? I think it's just the prelude to pump and dump. If CLARITY really passes, those shady exchanges better be careful. We'll see the on-chain data. Can the issuance increase beat the annualized return? That's the real way. When the regulatory boots land, it actually becomes an arbitrage opportunity. I'm just worried it will be a flash in the pan, another empty show.

If the CLARITY bill actually passes, exchanges will have to behave honestly. The reserve proof is a brilliant move, finally cracking down on false trading activities. Is BitMine's crazy issuance about to crash ETH? This move is quite something; if they really start buying, it should trigger a market rally. These two issues stacking up together, need to be carefully watched before taking action, or it’s easy to get caught in a trap. What’s the actual probability of the CLARITY bill passing the vote? It seems like opinions in the industry are quite divided. Is ETH really going to be pumped by this money from BitMine? The early investors must be laughing all the way to the bank. Once the reserve proof system is implemented, fake exchanges will really be panicking. This time, it’s a solid regulation. BitMine’s latest funding round pointing to buying ETH shows that institutions are still optimistic, but hearing about 50 billion shares sounds a bit like dilution. Let’s wait and see the voting results. Neither of these two things can go unnoticed; this week’s market should be interesting.
