Oh my god, I just saw the Trust Wallet security incident and I feel a bit anxious😰 The browser extension version 2.68 actually had a vulnerability that led to $7 million being stolen? This is a serious wake-up call for a newbie like me!

What reassures me the most now is that the official has already initiated a claim process, and CZ personally promised full compensation for users' losses. There are already over 2,600 claim applications, so it seems that quite a few users have been affected.

But to be honest, this incident made me realize a serious issue—private keys and wallet security really cannot be taken lightly! I am now reflecting on whether I might have done something improperly, such as importing private keys in unsafe places😅

By the way, friends who, like me, are new to the space, if you also use the Trust Wallet browser extension, it's best to check if your wallet has any anomalies. The official claim portal is now open and requires information like wallet address, transaction hash, etc.

This experience has truly taught me a vivid lesson—be more cautious when choosing a wallet, update software regularly, and stay vigilant at all times. Does anyone have any preventive measures or suggestions? I especially want to hear your experiences!
