The definition of traditional DeFi is being reexamined, and a broader financial ecosystem is emerging—some call it Neo Finance.
The infrastructure has matured. From payment tracks (Noble, ChainLink, Portal) to multi-chain ecosystems (Ethereum, Solana, Polygon, Avalanche, Arbitrum), the technological foundations at each layer are in place.
The real change comes from the application layer. Real businesses and real assets are generating sustainable returns—whether it’s asset tokenization platforms like Ondo, Sky’s stablecoin protocol, Maple’s institutional lending network, M^0’s new monetary primitives, or other innovative models, they are all reshaping on-chain finance with the logic of the real economy.
This is not speculation; it’s an upgrade of the system.

The idea of system upgrade sounds good, but how many have actually been implemented? Speaking of Ondo and Maple, I've noticed they've been a bit sluggish these past two years, and the enthusiasm seems far less than in the beginning.

I've been thinking for a while, and I still feel that this statement is a bit exaggerated... Infrastructure maturity is one thing, but claiming "system upgrade"? It still feels too early.
These projects are indeed doing real work, but what about market awareness... Most people are still just trading coins. Neo Finance sounds like a good story, but no matter how well the story is told, real money has to flow in for it to matter.

Bro, Neo Finance sounds pretty good, but who can actually make money will depend on who comes out first.
Having infrastructure ready is one thing, but the key is still whether people will use it. It can't just become empty talk again.
Projects like Ondo and Sky sound impressive, but I'm worried they'll turn into the next speculative frenzy. Why is it so hard to implement the real economy logic as promised?
I believe in system upgrades, but is this really different this time? Or are they just rebranding to continue the same old scam?

Hmm... sounds good, but we still need to take a closer look at the real assets. The prospects of projects like Ondo and Sky still need time to be tested.
