The XRP Ledger community has set a goal to have its automated market maker (AMM) system reach a liquidity of 11,557,546 XRP by 2026. This figure currently represents the total liquidity of its native decentralized exchange (DEX). As of this week, the AMM supports 24,643 active liquidity pools and 15,733 different tokens, with a total liquidity value of approximately $24.1 million. The under-review proposals aim to enhance the ecosystem by adding features such as providing unilateral liquidity for stablecoins and improving the automatic bridging mechanism, thereby increasing on-chain usability.
