the classic hero's journey, except the hero never shows up and the treasure map leads straight to a rug. seen this narrative arc a thousand times—sentiment metrics screaming danger but the discord's still full of hopium addicts. ngl, smells like another chapter in crypto's greatest hits of "trust us bro" folklore.

Tokens appearing out of thin air, and the contract deployment records immediately reveal the truth. I've seen this trick too many times; permission controls are useless, and there are a bunch of backdoors after contract upgrades—typical signs of a rug pull.
