Any settlement layer that invests its budget in marketing hype or blindly follows current popular narratives will basically not go far. To put it plainly, the true infrastructure is judged by strength and long-term vision, not by who can tell the best story.

This statement hits the nail on the head. Basic infrastructure has to be backed by real value; projects that spend heavily on marketing will eventually reveal their true nature.

Just say it, those settlement layers that shout slogans and rely on marketing will eventually fail. The ones that can truly survive are those that quietly focus on developing technology.

Damn, that's a spot-on comment. How many projects are still on the storytelling road and can't turn back?

That's right, in this circle, the best stories attract the most money, while those actually doing the work are ignored.

I'm just worried that some projects won't listen and will keep throwing money into marketing, waiting for a crash.

Exactly right. Nowadays, many projects are just storytellers, with poor actual technology, and they'll fail sooner or later.
