After years of navigating Web3, what is the harshest lesson I've learned? It's not to be blinded by the shouting.

I still remember those scenes in the community—people shouting about 100x, 1000x returns, talking about "disrupting finance" with all kinds of hype. When I jump in, the hype fades and the tokens disappear without even a goodbye. After doing this many times, I started to wonder—what kind of projects can survive, and which are just fleeting moments? Later, I realized—it's not about who has the loudest voice, but about whether you truly solve a real problem. Those that only tell stories without real implementation, no matter how popular they get, I no longer pay attention to.

What restored my confidence was deeply researching a project focused on privacy protection and compliance. I found that someone is seriously building financial infrastructure—not riding the trend, not hyping concepts, but bridging the gap between traditional finance and Web3. At first glance, this path seems the hardest, but precisely because it's difficult, succeeding in it represents real value. Its token isn't just air tokens; it's tied to the entire ecosystem.

I want to clearly explain how I went from initially understanding this project to eventually holding a significant position in it. These are all the pitfalls I’ve walked through and the waters I’ve crossed—honest words, no marketing hype.

Why do I particularly believe in the direction of privacy + compliance? It’s still because I’ve suffered losses before. I once tried participating in real asset transactions on-chain, and the feeling of being constantly blocked was truly speechless. There was one time...

A hundredfold, a thousandfold dream, all gone in a blink of an eye. Web3 truly gave me my first lesson. Only after being cut did I realize that projects just bragging are really not worth a look. Honestly, privacy + compliance is indeed a difficult but correct direction, but don't mythologize it too much. The more loudly the community shouts, the more careful you need to be. This time, I’ve learned to be smarter. So you're now optimistic about this particular direction? I’d like to hear how you do your due diligence. It's the same old story of "filling the financial gap." Who isn’t saying that these days? Take a deep breath; there are still people seriously building infrastructure. This kind of persistence is worth observing.

The part about being dazzled by the shouting and losing focus is so true; I've also fallen into this trap. The key still depends on what real problems the project can solve.

Really, I understand too well the set of being dazzled by the shouting and losing focus. How many IQ taxes have I paid before I finally understood this...

I'm tired of the hundredfold, thousandfold schemes; it still comes down to whether there's real substance.

After hearing hundredfold and thousandfold calls many times, the wallet is getting emptier. This is something you really need to understand deeply.

The dream of a hundredfold or thousandfold has long been awakened; now it's just a matter of who is truly working.
