A major UN agency has teamed up with a leading stablecoin platform to tackle crypto-related fraud and human trafficking across multiple African nations and Papua New Guinea. The initiative launches cybersecurity bootcamps in Senegal while establishing victim support programs in Nigeria, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Malawi, Ethiopia, and Uganda. University-level training programs are also being rolled out in PNG to build local expertise. This partnership demonstrates how the crypto industry is stepping up efforts to address real-world harms and work alongside international institutions on enforcement and education.
