nah, seen this one before back in 2017... low barriers = noise surge, high barriers = actual skin in the game. twenty bucks might seem arbitrary but it does filter out the panic sellers who ghost after first 10% dip. reminds me of early mining pools—same deal, commitment tax weeds out the tourists

Requiring a 20u threshold can indeed filter out genuine players, there's no doubt about that. Those retail investors who rush in and then quickly withdraw are not really valuable in the first place.
