Haha, really. If it had been called "Digital Money" or some crappy name back then, it wouldn't have the same vibe now. Crypto just has that flavor.

The name "crypto" is really perfect, capturing both secrecy and a sense of technology. The person who came up with this name probably foresaw the crazy market that followed.
