The interoperability issues within the Bitcoin ecosystem have finally been systematically clarified. This is not just a visual chart, but more like a blueprint for the future direction of DeFi.

In the current BTCFi landscape, cross-chain bridge protocols, asset wrapping solutions, and various DeFi protocols each serve their own functions. The bridging layer handles asset transfer, the wrapping layer addresses compatibility issues, while lending, swapping, and derivatives protocols provide actual financial functions on top of this foundation. Each layer is indispensable.

What can this layered architecture do? Break down silos. It allows Bitcoin not only to be stored on-chain but also to flow within ecosystems like Ethereum and Solana, participating in various DeFi applications. This is the true "Bitcoin financialization"—not locking BTC into exchanges, but making it a liquid asset across the entire Web3 financial system.

Someone finally figured this out, but who will guarantee the security of the bridging layer?

Someone finally explained this thoroughly; the layered logic of BTCFi is indeed excellent.

The logic of cross-chain bridging should have been sorted out long ago, but only a few can really get it running, and security remains a big pitfall.

Someone finally explained this clearly; before, it was all a mystery. But to be honest, how is the security of the bridging layer guaranteed?

This architecture is indeed ideal, but with such high risks in the bridging layer, does anyone really dare to make large cross-chain transfers?

Someone finally explained this clearly. I was dazzled before... But to be honest, how reliable are those cross-chain bridging solutions?

ngl this btcfi recipe is finally coming together... been waiting for someone to actually layer this stack properly instead of half-baking it across chains

It looks like another "plan," but what does on-chain data say? How much BTC is actually flowing through these cross-chain bridges, and what percentage of the total circulating supply does it represent? Don't just talk about a beautiful architecture; the fund flow trend is the key.

This diagram is quite detailed, but how many projects can actually run through? Most are still in the conceptual stage, right? --- For BTCFi to truly take off, it depends on whether the security of the bridging layer can hold up; otherwise, it will just be another round of cutting leeks. --- I agree with the layered approach, but I still think cross-chain bridges are the biggest risk. --- Bitcoin financialization has been talked about for years, but so far it's been mostly loud with little rain; I don't know when liquidity will truly be released. --- It's interesting, but the wrapped BTC stuff is fundamentally a centralized compromise; no matter how much you hype it, it can't be changed. --- Finally, someone explained this set of concepts clearly, so I don't have to dig through a dozen whitepapers for information.

Yeah, this idea is indeed good, but I still feel that the risks of the bridging layer are not truly taken seriously. Real liquidity needs to be proven over time; for now, it's mostly just slogans.
