Watching the Web3 platform expand wildly along the way, you will notice an interesting phenomenon.

In the early stages, everything was fine, with the team focusing on an ultimate experience. But once the user base grows, things change—demand explodes, expectations skyrocket, and features pile up. Many platforms, in an effort to seize market share, add ten new features in a single day. The result? Speed increases, but the user interface becomes bloated, requiring several extra clicks for each operation.

The most ironic part is, no one cares anymore. As long as growth metrics look good, it’s fine. How much time users waste on the app every day? That’s a story for another day.

But if the product remains rational, it’s a different story. Iterating with restraint, new features are added thoughtfully without rushing, and the core interaction process remains simple and elegant. This kind of growth may seem slow, but user stickiness becomes even stronger. Because people feel comfortable using it, they naturally stay. This is the true path to sustainable expansion.

Honestly, many Web3 projects are going down this wrong path now. They boast about new features and new ecosystems every day, but the UI is so complicated that it’s unbearable, and old users are being driven away.

Really? Looking at these platforms now, each one has more features than the last, I don't even know how to use them all.

That's why I only use those few active platforms now; all the others are bloated and useless.

I totally agree. These days, too many projects are just focused on boosting active data, regardless of user experience.

Haha, this is the typical "we want to be the next OpenSea" syndrome, which ultimately turned into a garbage dump. Honestly, Uniswap's early UI was truly excellent, but now it's becoming increasingly complicated. Many projects tell stories to raise funds; in a month, they can produce as much as others do in a year of iteration. It's really growth > experience; anyway, VCs only look at DAU.

Really, those platforms are just rushing for quick gains. A bunch of features are added all at once, and as a result, they become more and more laggy the more you use them. If you ask me, the principle of less is more, why is it so hard to understand? OMG, this is the kind of clear-headed voice I want to hear. The rapid iteration approach really should be stopped; it's exhausting. Some projects should learn from this mindset and stop just focusing on acquiring new users.
