We have discussed too much about price fluctuations and have overlooked the most essential aspect of Web3: data sovereignty.

Currently, most so-called DApps still rely on centralized servers like Vercel or Netlify for their front-end. The reality is harsh—if these platforms give the green light, your application front-end can disappear instantly. No matter how perfect the smart contract is, it can't save you.

Distributed storage networks now have the opportunity to change this situation. Imagine: uploading your entire website's front-end code (HTML/CSS/JS) to a decentralized storage layer, completely freeing yourself from the control of centralized servers. No one can arbitrarily delete your content, and no one can unilaterally decide what happens.

The underlying technology uses erasure coding. Even if a storage node goes offline, the entire network can automatically reconstruct your website from data fragments stored on other nodes. This is the true "undeniably unstoppable network."

By 2026, the persistence of information may be more critical than assets. Participating in the decentralized storage ecosystem is not just an investment but a way to maintain a truly free digital world. This is the spirit of encryption that should be upheld.

Honestly, discussing front-end decentralization at this point is a bit late, isn't it? --- The erasure coding scheme is indeed clever, but the key question is who will maintain these nodes. Without a solid incentive mechanism, the hard flaw remains. --- Once again, information persistence is more critical than assets... Sounds good, but how do you make money? --- Vercel deleting your front-end should have been taken seriously long ago, but everyone is too busy watching the coin prices. --- Decentralized storage truly lacks a real killer app; right now, it's still in the conceptual stage. --- I just want to ask how many people would actually put their front-end on distributed storage. It still seems to be a cost issue. --- This idea is fine, but how about execution? Who is responsible for node operation and maintenance costs? --- So essentially, it's still about finding an economic incentive model; otherwise, decentralization is just a gimmick.

Ah, you hit the nail on the head. Finally, someone is not just thinking about trading coins. I heard that too many people are still using Vercel to run the frontend. It’s really a bit funny. Data sovereignty is indeed seriously underestimated. But the problem is that the current experience of distributed storage is still subpar. Who is really using it? I understand the logic of erasure coding, but can the cost and speed compete? That’s my question. Being unstoppable sounds great, but who will bear the maintenance costs? If possible, I’m willing to try, but first it must be proven that it’s not just an overhyped concept. Web3 really needs to return to fundamentals. Stop just blowing bubbles.

That's right, finally someone hit the nail on the head. The hype about coin prices is really just empty talk. The big networks are still criticizing centralization for smart contracts, but the frontend is still being bottlenecked by Vercel. Isn't that just self-deception? Erasure coding is indeed powerful; even if nodes go down, the data remains. This is what true decentralization should look like. Permanent information > sudden coin price surges. This priority has definitely taught Web3 practitioners a lesson.

The medical records show that the clinical manifestations of this type of project are common—ideal is very promising, but the reality is quite sobering. Erasure coding technology sounds good, but the real issue lies in the liquidity indicators. Currently, the activity data of nodes participating in decentralized storage doesn't look quite right; it's necessary to regularly review the actual operational costs.

To be honest, Vercel's move was really ruthless. Many projects have died here, and no matter how much the coin price rises, it's useless. Hmm, wait, that's not the main point, is it? The real game is just beginning. Who still trusts centralized servers these days? It's long overdue for an upgrade. The logic of erasure coding is quite elegant, but it's still far from practical implementation. Permanent information storage is much more reliable than assets lasting forever. I agree with this statement.

honestly the vercel/netlify chokepoint is way more critical than people realize... traced the dependency patterns on like 50 major dapps last month, and the centralization risk reads like a typical rugpull signature waiting to happen. erasure coding bandaid won't fix the fundamental problem tho - node operators still gotta eat, economic incentives gonna be ugly when push comes to shove

Oh, that's right, finally someone explained it clearly To be honest, I'm already tired of Vercel's approach. If you want to delete, just delete it. What else can we do? Decentralized storage really needs to be taken seriously

Well said, finally someone has pointed out the core issue. No one really pays attention to the fact that front-end is getting stuck. Speaking of which, the decentralized storage ecosystem is still too niche right now. We'll see when it really becomes usable. Nah, this is the right path for Web3, much more reliable than just trading coins. Erasure coding is indeed excellent, but node stability is still an issue at the moment. I agree with the statement that information persistence > assets. It's great to finally hear a logical perspective. Unfortunately, most people don't care about this at all, they only think about which coin will rise. I've been saying this should be the way to play for a long time, but unfortunately no one listens.
