Having navigated the crypto world for these years, I’ve seen too many people lose everything out of greed. I’ve also had my own setbacks, and only afterward did I figure out a few survival principles.

**The first: Take profits when you see them, don’t wait for the "perfect selling point"**
Sell when you’re in profit, don’t stare at the price and hope it keeps climbing. The market offers opportunities every day, but the profits in your account are real. Those who always want to catch the highest point often end up getting trapped the worst. When $BTC hits a new high and $ETH surges, that’s when your mindset is tested—whether to hold or sell. Make the wrong choice, and your previous gains could be lost.

**The second: Follow the trend, don’t fight the market**
When the bull market comes, hold your positions without letting go; when the bear market hits, stay calm and rest. This is the simplest logic. Many think they’re clever by going against the trend, but in the end, the market will teach them a harsh lesson. Trends don’t lie—they’re right there. Whether you follow or not, the outcome is already decided.

**The third: Keep some reserve funds, going all-in is suicide**
Keep some cash on hand—that’s your confidence during a crash. When prices fall below the floor, the wealthy are buying the dip, while those without funds are cutting losses. That’s the difference.

There’s no story of lying down and winning in crypto; surviving is winning. Those who last long are rule followers, not gamblers.
