RWA has been popular for so long, but why haven't we seen any real big moves yet? The key is that there hasn't been a truly usable pathway. Traditional assets want to enter the blockchain, but they first need to pass compliance — and most current solutions are just theoretical. However, recent progress from the Dusk project seems to have broken this deadlock.

They have partnered with the Dutch licensed exchange NPEX and have already brought over €300 million worth of tokenized securities to the stage of real-world application. This isn't simulation; it's actual stocks, bonds, and other financial assets, being prepared for on-chain issuance through the DuskTrade application. Imagine that transferring a stock in the future could be as fast as sending an ERC-20 token, with the middlemen and multi-day settlement cycles completely eliminated.

In terms of network participation, this project also looks quite promising. Over 200 million DUSK tokens have been staked on the network, and such a level of involvement usually reflects the market's genuine attitude.

On the technical side, they haven't held back. Their Hedger technology uses zero-knowledge proofs to protect transaction privacy — transaction data is encrypted tightly, but when regulatory needs arise, compliance reports can be generated with a single click. It's like opening a suitable window for users and regulators on a transparent blockchain.

More importantly, the DuskEVM mainnet is about to go live. This means that the mature developer ecosystem and DeFi applications on Ethereum can almost seamlessly migrate over. Once that happens, building lending, liquidity mining, and other activities on a compliant foundation will open up new possibilities.
