Recently, the ZAMA project has been very popular, and many people are busy registering to participate. But to be honest, the KYC process has blocked a lot of people. I’ve also been burned once by rejection and only figured out the trick later. Instead of everyone stumbling like I did, I’d rather share my summarized experiences and lessons directly.

## Let’s start with a few key points

**File format is crucial** — Address proof must be uploaded as a PDF file. Don’t think about using images (JPG or PNG), as that significantly increases the chance of rejection.

**Region selection matters** — It’s recommended to fill in honestly or select Mainland China. I tested Hong Kong + Hong Kong bill combination and it was easily rejected; switching to Mainland China + Mainland invoice was approved instantly.

**Review process is uncertain** — Honestly, the current review system is somewhat "mysterious." The same documents can be approved or rejected. So it’s best to prepare several sets of documents just in case.

## How to get address proof

Many people are actually stuck on this step. But if you think carefully, there are plenty of documents you can use.

**Common valid documents include:** Utility bills (water, electricity, gas) are traditional proof of residence; electronic invoices or bills from China Mobile, China Unicom, or China Telecom also work; bank electronic statements are acceptable as well, as long as they include your name and address.

**Another practical method** — use purchase receipts. Many people haven’t thought of this, but it works well in practice. If you can’t gather the above bills, this trick can often save the day.
